Just now looked. Looks like they're at 39.99 now. Has anyone ever ordered from here?

I'll be the guinea pig.  I just ordered one.  It cost $46.18 with S+H.

This thread thinks they're a fake:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1302617&highlight=oomodel

This thread shows them selling the AR6100's for $8 with discount code that just ended:

People that have received the AR6100's have been happy with them.

Even if the 6200 is a knock-off, I can live with that as long as I get the full range.  I'll let you guys know.

I pretty much stay out of the Spektrum knock off debates, because I don't see anyone making Airtronics knock offs anytime soon.  But I'll throw my opinion in here if you don't mind, just to give you some things to think about.

Putting the legal ramifications aside, I don't see much problem with using the knock off 6100's, as they usually go in relatively inexpensive park foamies.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you guys normally use 6200's in planes that are a little more valuable, and want the redundancy and full range the 6200 provides?  So knowing you can get a legit 6200 for $65-$75, and that you use them to protect an investment in a more expensive plane, do you really want to then put that plane back in jeopardy with an unproven and untested rx over $20-$30?

These are more expensive than legit 6110's, so it doesn't make sense to use them on park flyers, and they just don't seem to be worth the risk for anything that a 6200 should go in.

Just giving you an outsiders perspective to think about.  Take it for what it's worth!

The cheapest I've found is $75 with S+H so it's about a 40% savings for just one. Not much of a savings for one RX dollar-wise, but if you plane on ordering several, the savings can add up because additional RX's aren't very heavy and won't increase S+H that much more (closer to $40.00).

I'm definitely going to investigate this before I put it in a good plane.  This one I plan on putting in my EZ*.. its a great platform to test because the setup is an old beater and I can see it from a long range upwards (not outwards).  If I can get someone from the forum to help, I'd like to do a range test comparison with a legit 6200 by taking them into a car and driving away until the first one stops going.

I also planned on breaking this one open and posting the photos of the differences (if any).  Our forum may have the exclusive.

Where do you see legit ones for $75? They list 79 on HorizonH and right now they're out of stock. So are the AR500's I'm looking for, and conveniently so is HobbyTown...

http://www.toddsmodels.com has them for $63.99, but their cheapest shipping rate is $12
http://www.bigskyhobby.com has them for $69.99, and their cheapest rate I think is around $5.
But, if you get more than one, the shipping does not go up per item.

The trick is that you have to add them to your cart.  They're not allowed to advertise less than MSRP.. so, they only show you the cheaper price AFTER it is in your cart. I bet Tom in Oak Ridge would match the price too, he has for me before.

Just got my AR6200 from oomodel today.  Definitely, it is a clone.. 100% clone.  There are many differences that distinguish it.  In all photos, the REAL AR6200 is on the right.

Have you had a chance to range check it?  Just curious to see if the range is similar, same, or less than the legit Spektrum rx.
