Warbird help
« on: November 22, 2011, 11:31:30 PM »
well now that finding a warbird is done, i just have one question. when i maiden the p47 today after takeoff it kinda shot up it really didnt stall i corrected with max down trim and it still wanted to go up dont get me wrong but i know u wana stay up when flying if u wana fly for long but im pretty sure i had the ball park CG. this is my first warbird and i really havent flown the gasser in awhile and i dont know if im rusty or i had it trimmed more up than anything with expecting it to to be nose heavy, cause the gear is in the scale spot. i know it could probably be a thousand things but just kinda wanted to ask i may try if the weather is ok to fly again. I couldnt get it to fly it the 2200mah cause it just wanted to nose over their is a mod u can do with angling the gear forward a little bit may try that tomorw night if moving stuff around dosent work.

i got everything figured out and put on my flight i was landing and the right wheel went off the pavement and the gear holder came off and a propeller cam off and broke around the holder but all is fixable i should have the gear back on tonight and maybe i can glue the piece back on and see if it will balance out.
