well i made a rookie mistake while on my second time out today, i let my plane get behind me while flying and i thought it was going left and i gave it right aileron and i drove it right into the ground, the fuselage is fixable but the wings were already in damaged from another crash so i will probably just wait awhile to get new stuff to work on it and just focus on building other planes for now

It's still flyable in a few spots, but getting very crowded up there. I passed by there a couple of days ago- the trees alongside the road have grown tall enough to interfere quite a bit with vision and landing. There's also a big new steel building framework going up down below near the parkway.

I haven't flown there in years myself just because the road there gets more traffic than it used to and no one ever shows up anymore.  I've been flying a lot at Shoreline Church https://www.google.com/maps/place/Shoreline+Church/@35.878876,-84.0944778,17z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0xf5657f9036a5b044
and the U.S. Cellular field still is a good place to fly.

I've been flying off and on a West Park Baptist church field on Middlebrook Pike. It's minutes from where I live, is huge, and often there's nobody there. Although lately there have been quite a few soccer practices going on in the evenings, which is when I usually fly there. I welcome anyone interested to check it out, it's a really nice, well-maintained and wide open field, with a shelter and tables for your stuff. Shoreline Church looks like a great field too, when do you all go out there? I usually fly in the evenings, when it's cooler and calmer.
