Guys,
I've been talking with Jordan from M&N Hobbies (Alias: MNHobbies) and he tells me he's owned one of just about everything they make and knows the ins and outs of 'em. So, if you have any questions about RC cars/trucks, he can probably answer.

One of my questions was are there any official places enthusiasts can meet in the area?
His reply:
There used to be a track in lake city called highlander hobbies, they had a dirt oval and a humongous off road track but have recently closed down to spend more time with their families.. I have since heard the guy that owns Ashway speedway, it is a go kart track... is going to be building an rc car track here pretty soon.. If that goes through then that will be a perfect place.

Maybe we can contact the good folks at Ashway Speedway and get an ETA?

Hope that happens soon.. that would be cool to watch and maybe to place bets on.   8)

I'll bet that if you contacted Sir Goony's in Farragut, they might be open to hosting a few races on their paved go-cart track. They have been hurting for business.

Why do I get the feeling that adding the car section is somehow going to cause me to find even more RC related stuff to spend money on  ::)

I think Kerbob's site classification needs to be changed to "Enabler".

I've often thought a sedan-style race on one of these tracks would be awesome!
