hmmmm....  Aston was first, but not totally correct, Blue Note was second, but right on....???

Who wants the rate reducer?

Offer it to Aston.  He was close enough and I run digital servos, so I don't think the limiter will serve me well.  Anyways, I go through steps and expense to make my servos go faster, not slower - where's the fun in that  ;D ( I do understand the purpose of the devise, however. )

Are you kidding, there's no way I am going to let you buy one after all those CX parts you gave me!  I have several, one is all yours!  Let me know if you are going to be in knoxville to fly anytime soon and I can get it to you if I am in town. Otherwise I can mail it to you.

I could eventually use it on my p51 if I ever finish it. It has flaps and a servo retracted tailwheel. I plan to be at the Harriman warbird event tomorrow sometime. I'll also be at the VAM fun fly in July of course.

BTW, I used an online translator. If that wasn't obvious enough. I will humbly accept disqualification if that constitutes cheating.

Vendors,
Just playing with AdBrite now.  Please do not buy ad space at this time.  However, I would like your impression.

I was hoping to find a simple Ad Rotator system and manually work with you, but I've had no luck.  AdBrite at least lets you target the specific sites you want to target but I'm a bit confused about how much it will cost you, the vendors.  Ideally, we can find a low cost practical solution that lets you all get involved.

Let me know what you think of AdBrite.
Thanks,
Kerbob

Ok, so now we have ads that I can control.  That was a pain.  :P

What Size Ads to Create
Leaderboard:  728 pixels wide by 90 pixels tall
This is the 'horizontal' ad

Tower: 160 pixels wide by 600 tall
This is the 'vertical' ad

Don't know how to create a banner?  Google "Free Banner Maker"

Submition
Tell me where your ad is hosted (an http:// link) or email it to me in PNG, JPG, or GIF format and I'll host it from WestKnoxRC. Also, give me the exact address where you want it to link to when people click on it. WestKnoxRC reserves the right to reject ad submissions for any reason.
Examples:
- it makes the page ugly
- its misleading

Cost
The cost is $5/add for 30 days; can't get any cheaper than that. ALL proceeds will go back into this site. You tell me when you want it to start running, otherwise I'll start it right away.  Adds randomly cycle, so you are not guaranteed a certain number of 'displays' or 'clicks'.  The more ads you submit, the greater the chance for it to be seen.. often.  Google Adsense will always be in the mix once.

Let me know if you have any questions!  The sample "Sell on WestKnoxRC" banners are only temporary.

I also wanted to mention that the Leaderboard ad gets displayed more frequently than the tower ad.  Tower ads are not shown on the front page, but they are everywhere else once per page.
Leaderboards are often displayed many times per page (top, middle, bottom).

To the Local Hobby Shops,

There was some interest in being able to advertise on this site.  That feature is now available to LHS's only for perhaps the cheapest price you'll get advertising space anywhere (5$ a spot for 30days), but we haven't had any takers.  I'm wondering now if I've provided something you weren't expecting.

Do you need help creating professional looking banners?  Had something else in mind?  Let me know..

Is that $5 /spot that is ran for 30 days...or $5 per spot ....ever how many accumulate over 30 days?... Since we're a new, lean company looking for exposure.... I just may be game... Need details and how-to

$5/ad/month.  Right now, we have three vendors with 1 ad/month.  The forum sofware randomly picks which one is displayed.  Doesn't matter if it gets viewed 5 times or 5,000,000 times, its the same price.. $5/month.  Also, I don't get any information on how many people actually -click- the ad.

There are two spots.. the horizontal at the top, bottom, and middle of the page and the vertical, on the right side.  The vertical is not displayed on all pages.
