f/s 4ch Easystar
« on: June 15, 2010, 10:37:58 PM »
Well am going to sell my ez star, for those not familiar, its been fitted with ailerons, and the rudder is enlarged. I am offering it up as a spektrum bind and fly, just add 2200ish 3 or 4 (if your really adventerous) cell lipo. Or i will sell it with out the rx, or motor if you want. The plane has a lot of tailoring to make it fpv ready, including a 6a external bec, its prewired for pan and tilt, and has an extra electronics bay added to install extra fpv goodies. It flys well, but just to fast for the low and slow style of fpv i prefer.
Im posting this from my phone so i will add more pics tomorrow.
Price $185 bnf
-$100 for no ar7000 rx
-$35 for no motor or esc (motor is a 2200kv 400 watt turnagy, esc is 30a cant remember the brand, i added an extra heat sink tho)
so for 50 you get a ez* with 4 9gr servos and external bec

Cool looking forward to it :)

Ok the short answer to why im selling it, is its just not what I want for an fpv plane, I know its supposed to be the most popular airframe for that, but its just not right for me. I.   Right now I am doing mostly low and slow fpv, and not pushing the range any, and the ez just doesnt slow down like my pusher slow stick, plus the small prop isnt well giving me the efficency I want. I can lumber around at about 2-4amps with the 10x4.7 on the slow stick. When I do get ready to go faster and farther I will prob. Just use the T-28 i put a gyro on the ail, and its is awesome on breezy days now.
All that said, the ez is a good plane, just not for what i want to do

Does the AR7000 have the dual reciever, and what kind of servos does it have?

Ah man, I just logged on to edit my post. I just robbed the AR7000 to put in the Seawind I got for fathersday. I put a AR500 in it instead. It has 4 HXT900 9gram servos.

If your still interested you can have it for $100 with the AR500, or $50 with out a RX.

Sorry  :-[
