The "WKRC Jenny" needs a home!
« on: July 08, 2010, 01:54:32 PM »
What I'm now calling the "West Knox RC Jenny" needs a new home.  I believe Flying Fox built it, sold it to Valkyrie 1520, and he then gave it on to Yvi (BZFlygirl).  She flew it quite a bit, and it has a few more cracks and bruises to show for it!  :D  Anyway, we got her a new plane to practice on, as the Jenny is a bit delicate to use as a trainer.  It still flies great and looks gorgeous in the air, it's even drawn attention of the other fliers out at the Horizon Center!  It really does look great in the air!

Anyway, you want it, it's yours, and the price is right..... FREE!  Tim gave it to Yvi, and it's only right that we donate it on to someone needing a good parkflyer!  It's receiver ready, with motor, ESC, prop, 2 servos, and 2 Rhino 2S 640mah packs.  All you need is your radio system, slap in the rx and it's ready to fly!

Let me know if you are interested.  The only thing I would say, I'd prefer to let it go first to someone who's relatively new to the hobby.  As I said, it's not the best trainer, but a great addition to someone looking to add a second plane to their fleet.  Not that I won't give it on to one of you regulars, but I think you're with me that a plane like this is something to help inspire a newbie into getting deeper into the hobby!

Hey I remember that plane  :D
If it does go to a newer pilot, I recommend that the elevator rate be kept low, as the only bad flying tendency I remember it had was that at high angle of attack the rudder was VERY ineffective, but other than that it was a nice slow easy plane to fly. Super fun for practicing touch and goes.

The Jenny will have a new home with StarshipEntropy.  The weather kept us from the exchange today, hopefully tomorrow we'll have better luck!
